Yesterday while waiting for the NBA game, I watched Doraemon. Doraemon by the way is an animated Japanese TV show. The story is about a robotic cat (Doraemon) that comes from the 22nd century. He comes to 20th century and stays with Nobi Family. The Nobis love Doraemon very much. So Doraemon always help the Nobis with the devices from 22nd century.
Anyway, when I was riding on a jeepney awhile ago a mother asked her son, if he enjoy watching Doraemon. The son who looks like 5 years old to me answered his Mom, “I don’t like it. It’s so nonsense. There is no lesson in the show. All it does is to make somebody lazy. All about laziness! It teaches us to be lazy. I don’t like watching it again”. I was surprised and at the same time stunned by his answer. He’s that smart isn’t he?
I also remember when I used to tell my niece to scold her teacher if she won’t allow her to eat inside the classroom (I said that jokingly of course :D). She hurriedly looked at me and said “No. I’m not gonna do that. It’s not good and that’s not proper to eat inside the class anyway.” I was so happy then hearing it from her. ‘Cause after all, she knows what is bad and what is wrong.
Amazingly, children nowadays maybe different. They speak up their minds and their on the right track. I love it when my nieces will hug and kiss me. It’s just that they make my day even brighter.
