Today is my 26th birthday. Unlike some women who carefully keep their ages, well I am proud to say that I am 26 years OLD.

It’s been a long journey for me to get into this age. I have learned a lot of things. I learned to forgive, learned the meaning of acceptance, being mature (somehow), learned how to get up and start anew and learned the real meaning of love. The tears that have fallen in my eyes, those times when I felt I was so weak, those times when I felt like I’m all alone….those, I wish I will I experience again on my 26th and beyond.

However, being here on this age would not be complete without my experienced on my past. My 25th was the happiest and biggest year of my life and starting today, it will be a continuation of a life that I thought a wasted one… but then I realized how lucky I am to have a family, to have friends and to have someone to love.

Thank you Lord for giving me another year…. and a life that’s worthwhile.

Well, i know this post is kinda late…one month late! LOL

Anyway, me and my bf watched Fire Power on theater live. It was  our first times watching Manny on the big screen. We paid 550 pesos each for the tickets! But we ended up leaving the Cinema with smile on our faces.

When Manny knocked down Miguel Cotto on the third round, I jumped for joy and even jump and clapped more on round four knocked down.

It was really a one experience that I really treasure since I’ve always want to watch it live and when it came true, plus watching it with my bf, i couldn’t ask for more…

I know I haven’t posted any updates for the past month/s but I promise I’ll take care of everything this weekend.

New year couldn’t be as happy when not shared with friends and of course with family. This year, though we are not that complete, still we manage to celebrate it as happy as it is. Foods are everywhere, i guess, that’s the reason why many people are having problem with their weights. Haha! Me? Well, I can see my tummy getting bigger… ^_^

I celebrated new year with my family beside me. We watched TV while waiting for the count down to 2008. About an hour to go, i went to the kitchen and arranged the table for foods. We didn’t have a lot of foods to share though. I think we had like 8 or 9 different kinds of foods.

When 12 mid night came, i could hear fireworks/firecrackers and been hearing them everywhere! We all have smiles on our faces as we hope for a happy, safe and prosperous new year to live. Another year, another lives for all of us!
