Who would have thought that my baby dog Pochi has fear of heights and that he has Acrophobia? Yes it’s true. Pochi is afraid of height no matter how short the distance is, he won’t dare jump. My friend even envy me for Pochi having Acrophobia. She was like “I want my dog to have fear of heights too just like him.” haha and that made my ears wider.
I don’t know if that’s normal with dogs, but I don’t care…I love him more than anyone else.
If you care about your dog healthand you want them to live the longest, healthiest life possible, it is critical that you know what you should and what you should not be feeding to them. Dogs have different metabolism compared to humans and feeding them with foods that we enjoy can be very fatal.
Here are some of the common food items that should not be given to your dogs, as they have been found to be either directly or indirectly “toxic” to them:(more…)
Few weeks ago, I was full of worries to my baby Pochi. He had fleas and they were so many of them which caused wounds of Pochi’s body. I was so worried not because Pochi will die, but worried that his hair might fall. Not just partly but all of them! Huhu..Aside from that, his eyes became blurred. I didn’t know what to do then.
This happened when i was out of town (went to Boracay) for vacation. When I came back, I was so horrified to see my baby’s appearance.. Poor Pochi..
I visited a Vet to let her examine Pochi. She issued me medicine to my Poch which made my wallet way down empty! (more…)
When She Loved Me is a song by Sarah McLachlan and a song from the movie Toy Story 2. It is where my favorite part is. When Jessie (the cowgirl) was once owned by Emily and when she grew up she throw Jessie away. Somehow, I can relate to the scene. It made me cry actually…
Anyway, i know, if only dolls, pets, and beloved things can only speak, and if one day, they’ll be forgotten, they will sing this song too. This may sound funny, but it’s true. I won’t be hypocrite, but I also did what Emily has done to Jessie. But the only difference is, i didn’t throw them away nor gave them to somebody else. Instead, i keep them. One of my favorite and only Barbie Doll is still on my closet. Frequently handled but still I manage to keep.
I can assure my dogs not to sing this to me..hehehehe.. Pochi will always be love and also Barbie. I know sometimes I am bias to both of them coz i care more to Pochi, but im sure Barbie understands that..Oh and she has babies again. ^_^
That’s just me..Whoever close and are true to me, I assure that you have place here in my heart. I may not be as “showy” but as long as you respect me, then I will give you respect too…
Here’s the video of my favorite part of the movie…
My baby Pochi just turned 1 year old last month! And I can see how he got taller (duh!.hehe), more cute, more adventurous and of course more loving. When I talk about my dog, my friend always say that Pochi is a spoiled one! Hmmm, well, maybe he is, but who cares? ^_^
Last year, Pochi made my whole year so meaningful. He was always the one who took all the stress that i feel, especially when i arrived fresh from work. Yeah, i know that you’re thinking i am that crazy or something, but hey! this dog is like my baby. My own baby! It’s good when you hug him, and when you talk to him and all he can do is to listen, and look you in the eye and kiss you! hayz, i don’t know what to do if something will happen to you Poch!
I love you baby Pochi! I’m always here for you baby Poch! ^_^
I am happy today! My ever loving adopted “son” hehe, I mean dog, Pochi received kudos and praises from my brothers, aunts and mother. Wonder why? Here’s the story:
This morning while leaving the office by 7 AM, I received a text message from my brother that an intruder got inside of compound. I replied to him and convinced him if it’s true or not, since he’s fun of making jokes on me sometimes, he said “yes”. I was thrilled and scared. When I got home, I then asked my Aunt if that’s really true and she said yes (my brother tells the truth! Hehe). Anyway, back to the story, my mother told me that it happened around 4:45 to 5 in the morning. She was doing the laundry just outside our house and was disturbed by Pochi’s because he kept on barking so loud and continuously. Since Pochi does that all the time when he sees a cat, my mother thought that it was really just a cat. So she came to Pochi and told him to stop and gave him food (thinking that maybe he was just hungry). Lately, when my cousins woke up, she noticed that the rubber shoes, flip flops and scandals that are placed outside their house were gone! Thinking that they are just somewhere, she didn’t mind. Not until, they heard our neighbor telling that there is an intruder early this morning who tried to steal their bonsai plant and even ran after that stranger guy but didn’t stopped him. There, they saw my sandals and flip flops near the street and suspected that they belong to my cousins. Though he indeed managed to steal 3 pairs of flops.
Even though, he didn’t get any high priced things and only got flip flops, but still, I’m so thankful that he didn’t hurt anyone, especially my mother. Hope he’ll never come back in our Barangay and in our territory!
So how did Pochi got those praises? Even if he didn’t catch the intruder or bite him (since he’s inside his dog house), but the way he barks so loud that very morning was his mean of saying “hey there is somebody inside our compound!” If he could only said that and if only my mother understands what he’s barking, then surely, they captured that intruder. But sadly, nobody understands him, cause, yes, he is just a dog, that only barks. But, the very good thing there is, we are now alert. My mother said, that when Pochi starts barking so early in the morning, they must consider that it’s not just because of cats, not because he’s hungry, but because, there is “stranger” entering our territory!
Thank you baby Pochi! You are such a brilliant dog and I am so proud of you! I love you!
