Celebrating Christmas is something that we treasure most. This Christmas, parties were everywhere. I guess that’s the reason why i really had fun and and enjoy a lot. But of all those parties i’ve been, spending Christmas with family is the best! So, this Christmas, my cousin decided to give us, each, a personalized T-shirts. That’s Green, Red, Yellow and Blue. I hosted the party and had a lot of games for adults and for the kids. We really had a great time together. We’ve been doing this for years and wish that on the years ahead, we will still celebrate this way! ^_^
So Christmas is coming! And I am now starting to welcome gifts! Haha! Nah, I made here my wish list. Though I’m not expecting to receive any of it this Christmas, but at least I have those things listed that I’m hoping to have. I only hope that someone with great heart will read this..huhuhu
Anyway, so far I have 5 in my list. But it will never ends there..!!!
1. New Cellphone - not an iPhone but a Samsung D830. ^_^
It really annoys me everytime i see somebody that is close to me is going away. It hurts me so bad to miss them. My friend Sarah came home few weeks ago, but then she’ll leave on Thursday, once again because of her work. She’s working in Dubai by the way. She is just one of my friends whom i hate to see go. Just like seeing my friend Kharen go. Though yes, i’ve got nothing to do, but eerrrr missing them is so hard to do. Oh my, i remember friends of mine who left and work abroad of in Manila, my best friends, brother and my father. You know the feeling of emptiness every time you miss them. During their birthdays and all you have to do is to greet them without even hugging or kissing them on their special days? So sad…
Christmas is coming and yet another year of their absence. I miss all of my friends whom i haven’t seen for a long time…I miss my tatay and I miss my brother. Hope to see all of you all.
I just wonder, if ever one day, I will work abroad for a year or even years, will my friends and family miss me the way i miss them? Hmmm..Sure they will. ^_^
Since I was young, I used to know Santa with his “ho, ho, ho” thing. As a kid, when I hear that, the smile is all over my face. I’m sure I want to see that to my nieces and nephews.
But there’s this news from Australia that errrrrr..trying to stop Santa for saying “Ho, Ho, Ho”!?!
Santas in Australia’s largest city have been told not to use Father Christmas’s traditional “ho ho ho” greeting because it may be offensive to women, it was reported Thursday.
Sydney’s Santa Clauses have instead been instructed to say “ha ha ha” instead, the Daily Telegraph reported.
One disgruntled Santa told the newspaper a recruitment firm warned him not to use “ho ho ho” because it could frighten children and was too close to “ho”, a US slang term for prostitute.
“Gimme a break,” said Julie Gale, who runs the campaign against sexualising children called Kids Free 2B Kids.
“We are talking about little kids who do not understand that “ho, ho, ho” has any other connotation and nor should they,” she told the Telegraph.
“Leave Santa alone.”
A local spokesman for the US-based Westaff recruitment firm said it was “misleading” to say the company had banned Santa’s traditional greeting and it was being left up to the discretion of the individual Santa himself.
