Well, finally…everything’s ok with me now. No more tonsillitis and sore eyes for me anymore. Yippee!
Oh how can I not thank those who helped me with these sickness? So I will take this oportunity to thank the 3 antibiotics, 10 Ibuprofen Advils, 1 Paracetamol and 1 tube of Eye Mo Drops.

I hope they’ll never come back anymore. So happy to drink cold drinks once again after four days of drinking none-cold one.
It’s been four days since I had my tonsillitis and till now my throat is aching. I really do hope that tomorrow this will be ok, since I took medicines twice already. However, while waiting for it to heal…my eyes begin to turn red.
Yes I have sore eyes, though it’s only my left eye that has it (sore eye? whatever). I don’t know why I have one since I thought that sore eyes only happen during summer season. Oh well, WHATEVER! I really hate thinking that sooner two of my eyes will get infected.
I really really hope that these two will heal within this week. Hay, I’m so depress..
Here I am…Staying at home alone..Listening to the rhythm of the pouring rain. Sitting in front of Mr ACER and feeling depress..Sad because I’m here while my friends are there enjoying their videoke gala performances. What about me? I practiced my piece for days already and it’ll gone, for nothing! You know why? Waaahhhhh!!! I have TONSILLITIS!!!!!!
And it’s killing me really! This itchy and soaring throat is really killing me! And there’s no one to blame but these frosts that I drank last Thursday. So my friend Paul and I dated (naks!) no! we just had dinner at this famous JD resto. I ordered chicken with rice and oh the ever seductive Mocha Frost (tse!). I had a great time sipping on the straw playing with the whip cream and really love it! Since I ordered that before I really felt at ease and worried nothing. It’s just my favorite. Even if when my friends and I go to a videoke house, I always order that one, for always. Anyway, after we’re done eating, we went to SM City to pay my bills (CC and cable tv bills). After strolling, we decided to go to a coffee shop. There I again ordered…tantararan!…Strawberry Margarita Frost! Hello frosty! Haha…I really love it since it’s strawberry with a taste of coffee and I don’t know where that coffee flavor came from. I love it to the extent that I even grabbed Paul’s order.
After hours of sitting, sipping and listening to the band, we decided to leave with friend Amy. At the office… I felt thirsty, only to realize that sh*t I have no mug..I forgot my (Snow White) mug! Waaahhhh!!!What will i do????
I searched for the goodies in our pantry, hayz, no bottled water, just juices. Do I have a choice? None! So I had one bottled juice, pineapple flavored. Damn it! So sweet! Sweeter that the Frosts! After hours, I noticed something itchy and sore on my throat, i felt pain when I swallow, but I disregarded it to think that it was nothing. I hurriedly finished the juice and filled the bottle with water. Though I already drank 1 bottle of it still, the pain never gone…
Until now, Sunday! When I woke up, I felt something on my yeah throat on the left side. I then checked it, to see what it looks like on the mirror. To my surprise, I saw my tonsils, swollen with white spots and it looks really like this. Poor me, I then told my mother about it and she let my Sis in law bought an antibiotic. After I took the med, still nothing is changing, the pain never goes away. I waited..waited..and waited…still nothing happened. Until I decided to take an Advil (since it’s an Ibuprofen), but still, nothing is really happening..Waaahhhh!!! I want to cry…
I hope this will get better tomorrow…Wish me luck!

Weeks ago, my nephew was baptized. I was chosen as one of the Godmothers. The ceremony was short, for like 15 minutes. So it’s not that tiring standing till it ended. As I was there, listening to the Priest, it got me to thinking, what does baptism really means for us Catholics/Christians?
I know that I was also baptized when I was a child. My mother told me that I was months old when I received my baptism. Now, I’m on my 24th, grown up, still the meaning is not that clear to me. What is the use of Godparents, how it’ll affect me as a Christian, etc. So I did my research.
It says that:
**Baptism is not to be regarded merely as a ceremony devised for the Christian naming of infants. It is a sacrament, in which the children are brought publicly to be Baptised, and to be received into the Church of Christ; and in which they are brought into the Spiritual Presence of God, in order that they may receive His Holy Blessing. It is a service of consecration and dedication, of faith and thanksgiving and worship of God.
When an infant is baptised he/she can’t answer the questions for him/herself, so someone needs to answer on his/her behalf. Godparents (also called sponsors or proxies) were originally introduced into the baptism service for this reason. In the history of the church godparents also promised to bring the child up in the Christian faith, and took responsibility for this.
For Roman Catholics, baptism by water is a sacrament of initiation into the life of children of God (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1212-13). It configures the person to Christ (CCC 1272), and obliges the Christian to share in the Church’s apostolic and missionary activity (CCC 1270). The Catholic Tradition holds that there are three types of baptism by which one can be saved: sacramental baptism (with water), baptism of desire (explicit or implicit desire to be part of the Church founded by Jesus Christ), and baptism of blood (martyrdom).
